Mariana Meerhoff, PhD, is a Professor of Ecology in the Department of Ecology and Environmental Management at CURE- Universidad de la República, in Maldonado. She is also honorary associate researcher at Aaarhus University, Denmark, and a former member of the Advisory Board of SARAS Institute.
